But wait, what serums first?
When it comes to applying your serums, we have an easy 4 step skin care routine that will leave you feeling and looking your glowy best. We highly recommend that prior to applying your serums in the morning, your face has been washed and cleansed both morning and night. We do strongly suggest that if you have worn make up throughout the day, you give your face a double cleanse at night, one to remove the makeup, then one to give your skin the cleanse it most deserves.
Our serum bottles are designed to tell you at a glance whether the product should be applied in the morning, night time, or both with a sun representing the morning and a moon representing the night.
The Saint Louve skincare routine starts with Vitamin B3, B5 & Hyaluronic Acid Hydrating Serum in the morning, followed by the 15% Vitamin C Lustrum Serum. The 0.25% Encapsulated Retinol Serum will always be used at night time and begin with only once or twice a week. The 12% AHA BHA Exfoliating Serum can be used one or twice a week as well, in the morning or night, whatever you prefer. We do recommend alternating use of the Retinol and Exfoliating Serum to prevent any drying out of the skin. And if you like you can also use the Vitamin B morning and night. A general rule of thumb when it comes to using Retinol is to use it for every decade old you are, EG 20 years old = 2 nights per week.
