Vitamin B3, B5 and Hyaluronic Acid Hydrating Serum

With 12% Vitamin B3 (Niacinamide) which is a water-soluble vitamin that displays antioxidant effects that protect the skin from stressors while also repairing the skin barrier by promoting the production of Ceramides. With a stronger skin barrier, the skin is better protected against sensitivity and damage caused by irritants. Niacinamide also has anti-inflammatory properties which help to sooth red and irritated skin.There is also 1% Vitamin B5 (Panthenol) which helps to enhance the skin barriers function by aiding in moisture retention, making it deeply hydrating and soothing. Ingredients that draw in water are known as humectants and we have filled this serum with a range of humectants that work well together to give extremely effective hydration within the skin, including three different molecular weights of Hyaluronic Acid (HA), the largest of which packs the skins surface with hydration while the smaller weights are able to penetrate deeper within for a long-lasting hydration. Paired with Glycerine which works with HA to keep the skin hydrated, known for its gentle nature, making it perfect for sensitive skin. As well as Sodium PCA which not only improves hydration but also texture, softening rough, irritated skin.Another hydration powerhouse is Polyglutamic Acid which is shown to hold even more water than HA, replenishing the skins surface moisture and aiding in improved barrier function. Lastly there is the inclusion of Ceramides, a lipid that makes up a large portion of the skin barrier, which is often compromised in individuals with sensitive skin. Increased Ceramides aids in preventing moisture loss and reinforcing the skin’s natural defence mechanism, making it more resilient.
