Our exfoliating serum works by dissolving the bonds between dead skin cells, allowing them to slough off naturally. Unlike physical exfoliants, which involve abrasive particles that can cause micro-tears and irritation, the use of chemical exfoliation is gentler and less likely to damage the skin's protective barrier compared to physical exfoliation.

By using a combination of 5% Lactic Acid (AHA) to remove dead skin cells and brighten the skin, along with 3% Mandelic Acid (AHA) which has a larger molecular size making it great for breakouts and fine lines, plus 2% Glycolic Acid (AHA) which aids in clearing pores and smoothing skin, and finally 2% Salicylic Acid (BHA) to slough away dead skin and excess oil to reduce whitehead and blackheads while also minimising pore size.

The 12% AHA BHA Exfoliating Serum has had clinically proven results with 100% of trial participants agreeing they had visibly smoother skin on first application. 100% also felt their skin soft to touch the day after application. 89.29% saw an improvement in skin tone, whilst also finding this serum to be non-irritating to use 3 times per week over the 28-day trial. 85.71% of participants saw and improvement in skin texture while 71.5% noticed reduced breakouts and congestion over the 28 days.
