What is Niacinamide?
Niacinamide has been dubbed the SUPERHERO in any skincare regime, and I tend to agree. It's suited to anyone and assists with a plethora of conditions and concerns from smoothing wrinkles and evening skin tone to reducing the viable effects of acne, eczema, and rosacea. Suited to nearly any skin type it's a true all-rounder. PLUS, the magnitude of research that has been conducted on Niacinamide has the facts to prove it.
Niacinamide (also known as nicotinamide) is a form of vitamin B3 (niacin) and is used as a topical in skincare. Niacinamide is a water-soluble vitamin that helps to visibly minimize enlarged pores, tighten lax pores, improve uneven skin tone, soften fine lines and wrinkles, diminish dullness, and strengthen an impaired barrier.
Niacinamide also has anti-inflammatory properties making it a fabulous choice for breakout prone, problem skin types and inflammatory associated to acne.
It locks moisture into the skin to reduce trans epidermal water loss throughout the day resulting in plumper, firmer more hydrating skin. If you struggle with recurrent dry, tight, flaky skin, nicinamide works brilliantly with your common moisturising ingredients like glycerin, non-fragrant plant oils, cholesterol, sodium PCA, and sodium hyaluronate.
When to use Niacinamide (B3)?
For best results, use the Saint Louve Vitamin B3, B5 & Hyaluronic Acid Hydrating Serum twice per day and it is usually the first step in your skincare routine. Naicimaide is gentle enough to be used around your eyes too.
